Why Use Clavamox for Humans?

Remember, you don't need to use veterinary medicine for yourself or someone else (humans). In the case of Clavamox which contains amoxicillin trihydrate and clavulanic acid (clavulanate potassium), probably, you are confused as this antibiotic preparation (amoxicillin trihydrate and clavulanate potassium) also treats a broad range of bacterial infections in humans as well as in animals.

Amoxicillin trihydrate and Clavulanic acid preparation treat a variety of aerobic as well as anaerobic bacteria's infections in humans. But, you don't need to buy Clavamox, an FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved drug to use in animals (only).

Because the same preparation is available by the brand name "Augmention". Augmentin is a Glaxosmithkline pharmaceutical product, which contains the same preparation (amoxicillin trihydrate and clavulanic acid) as Clavamox.
