This article explains that whether “Is it necessary to give Simplicef (Cefpodoxime proxetil) tablets with food or not?” It’s a veterinary antibiotic drug that is used to treat a broad range of bacterial infections in dogs, cats, and almost all small animals.

Simplicef Tablets are available in two strengths, 100mg, and 200mg respectively. They contain an active ingredient “Cefpodoxime proxetil” which is a broad-spectrum, third-generation cephalosporin, that treats all types of bacterial diseases caused by gram-positive and gram-positive bacteria.
